Hmmm...I missed the fact that 1Gb was missing a half-duplex setting.  That's what you get for not reading carefully enough.



Is that a standard for gigabit that it doesn't support half duplex?  I just checked and my BCM5709 doesn't show any supported half-duplex modes at all for 1Gb, 2.5Gb, or 10Gb.

AFAIK, there is no such thing as half duplex gigabit.
There's only one mode in gigabit link, and it is full duplex.
