No, at the moment there is no way to rename it.

Atheros AR5B93 Wireless Network Adapter: it's the one listed as "Microsoft".
Tunnel adapters are not available thru WinPcap (I think they are exposed by the TCP/IP protocol driver, they do not correspond to real or virtual NICs)

Subject: [Winpcap-users] Some network adapter not detected
Dear All,
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
I copied and pasted the codes from http://www.winpcap.org/docs/docs_411/html/group__wpcap__tut3.html to Visual C++ 2008 Express and compiled it.
It seems like the application does not detect some of my network adapters.
I tried to run "ipconfig /all" command in the command prompt, and the following are the output:
C:\Users\user>ipconfig /all

Enter the interface number (1-7):
According to the application output above, the application does not detect my wireless adapter "Atheros AR5B93 Wireless Network Adapter" together with other "tunnel" adapters. Why?
Regards,

Thanks for the reply. Is there anyway to make it detect as my adapter's name "Atheros AR5B93 Wireless Network Adapter". may be by modification of codes, or any way?
