[Winpcap-users] Adapter description bug

Uhm... wait...

what are you building exactly with MingW? wpcap.dll or packet.dll? The 
problem was certainly showing with the tracing version of packet.dll coming 
from the winpcap website (and such DLL is built with VS2005SP1, or VC6, 
depending on the version).
