  Youre' right Gianluca,
How stupid I am to forget about that administrator way of working on Vista.
Do you still want me to report it as a bug ?
No, it's not necessary.
Have a nice day
GV
  Thanks a lot,
  Hany

      Hi,
I tried to install the latest winpcap (4.0) on 64bit machine (2K3 and Vista), tested with Nmap and it works nice on 2K3 but got error message on Vista, which is:
dnet: failed to open device eth4
Any clue that might help ?
FYI, I used the latest installer downloaded directly from winpcap site, and not the one from Nmap.
      Thanks,
      hanofee
