hi,

you are right. my chief said, that i should try to expand a dll!
now i have to decide, if i expand the packet.dll or the wpcap.dll!

which dll is the better way to implement a interface to a external tool?
i think it is the packet.dll even thought it is a low-level api!

can you confirm this?

to add a device and if this device selected i choose the way to the tool
and otherwise the tool goes on with the connection to the npf!?
