[Winpcap-users] Determining linkstatus

Hello,

Is there a way to determine the linkstatus on a ethernet nic? A simple 
connected/not connected would do. It seems that the ip-address is 0.0.0.0 
when not linked but this obviously only works when TCP/IP is bound to the 
nic.
