[Winpcap-users] Future work on winpcap

hi,
       I hav read the document on Development of an Architecture for Packet Capture and Network Traffic Analysis by Loris Degioanni. There is one page on future work for  winpcap in providing a new and simpler interaction with the operating system. What is this actually means ? Can you explain in details ?
