Yeah I really need to use my surface 2 pro for this development though so I don't really have an option to use win7 (unless I run a virtual machine but that's a pain for such a simple development project). Anyone out there know a way to get this working, it is acting like it either doesn't recognize the libraries at all or they are invalid. And yes I have tried linking in the x64 versions it doesn't seem to help.

On Sat, Nov 15, 2014 at 3:20 PM, John Hurst <jdhurst@myself.com> wrote:

I am not sure about Visual Studio, but the newest version of WinPcap on my Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit machine causes the Intel card to stop working (critical error in Windows 8 Reliability Monitor).

WinPcap (newest version) works fine on my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit machine

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">----- Original Message -----
<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Subject: [Winpcap-users] Windows 8.1 Pro + Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate.
<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Date: Sat, 15 Nov 2014 14:35:48 -0700
<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">From: Michael Wade <michael.br.wade@gmail.com>

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Projects the work fine using 2012 pro and windows 7 refuse to link on
<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">8.1Pro and VS2013 ultimate.
