<p>Hmmm...I missed the fact that 1Gb was missing a half-duplex setting. That's what you get for not reading carefully enough.</p>

<p>Is that a standard for gigabit that it doesn't support half duplex? I just checked and my BCM5709 doesn't show any supported half-duplex modes at all for 1Gb, 2.5Gb, or 10Gb.</p>

There's only one mode in gigabit link, and it is full duplex.<br>
