Hello,

I'm trying to develop a java software (using winpcap and jpcap from
netresearch) which needs to sniffer and analyze packets of the network
interface being used. The main goal is to make this work also in usb
mobile modems like Huawei E220 or K3715 for both XP and Vista. The
problem (well known, I think) is that, at least for Vista, winpcap
doesn't recognize network interface used by these modems due to the
NDIS binding process limitations. My question is if someone
successfully workaround this limitation and start to capture packets on
these network interfaces and could write a cookbook to know how to do
it (I'm thinking in some kind of COM port emulator or similar, not sure
this is the way to go...)

Thanks in advance,
