<p class=MsoNormal>We're observing a problem with calling pcap_findalldevs. On
certain machines it causes a high spike in cpu usage, which we can not allow
for in our running service. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>for example, running the following on a windows 2000 server
machine takes about 9 seconds, with the cpu utilization getting to 100% :<o:p></o:p></p>
