<p class=MsoNormal>I have been asked to install wireshark/winpcap on the machines
within a few of our university labs. They require this to be within an msi
package so it can be deployed remotely and for it to only operate in none
promiscuous mode. I have modified the source, and compiled the two dlls
such that it doesn’t enter promiscuous mode, and this has been tested and works
on my test machine. I can build an MSI package for wireshark no problem. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>However, installing winpcap is giving me problems. The
method I used on the test machine was to install the stock version and simply
replace the dll’s after installation – which worked. I tried capturing this
processing within an MSI package but after “successful” installation no
interfaces are presented in wireshark.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>Has anyone done anything similar to the above who can point
