IPv6 support in WinPcap usually refers to two different
aspects:

1. listing IPv6 addresses associated with an adapter returned
by pcap_findalldevs(). This is fully supported by WinPcap 4.0 on XP, 2003 and
Vista. It should be supported on win2k using the experimental ipv6 stack
provided by MS research (if I remember well)

2. support for bpf filters using ipv6 addresses. In general
the pcap filter compiler (pcap_compile()) supports filtering on IPv6 addresses.
There are some limitations to this, that I don't remember exactly. I suggest you
to ask to the tcpdump-workers mailing list for details on it (pcap_compile comes
from the original libpcap sources).
