source/destination address format<BR><BR></FONT></DIV>
<DIV>hi,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I am trying to build a network sniffer with vc++. when I looked at the
winpcap code I couldn't understand the format of the source/desination
address, which has the value 0:0:0:0:0:0 and 1:1:1:1:1:1 respectively.
I understand that having 1:1:1:1:1:1 will send packets to all the
listenning ports. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>can somebody please help me to understand this ( what each bytes
represent). i am a new B to this. I would like to customize the source
& destination address.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>thank you for your help in advance.</DIV>
