I'm a new member of this mailing list (my introduction is below) and i
want to use winpcap dll's in C#, i've noticied that some users of this
mailing list already managed to make this work, my question is how? I
would appreciate some help from anyone who have managed to get this
working!<br>

<div><font size="2">It should be possible to use WinPcap from C# without much
trouble, by making use of P/Invoke (and playing with the marshalling of
buffers/pointer/....) to call the functions exported by wpcap.dll. In any case,
I suggest you to send a message to the winpcap-users mailing list, since I think
there are some users out there working on that.</font></div>

with C#</div>
<div><br></div>Hello!<br><br>My name is Rui Oliveira, and i'm a portuguese
researcher! I belong to a project related to building an IDS (Intrusion
Detection System) tool. The technology that we are going to use is the .NET
Framework 1.1 C#. So since Winpcap was developed in the C language, i ask if
it is indeed possible, to use Winpcap in a C# based application. If it is so
wich dll's or other files, will i need to use (import to my C# code), for
enabling my C# code to use winpcap C functions?<br><br>Please
Reply!<br><br>Thanks!<br><br>Rui Oliveira<br>
